The quarterly meeting for PDAO’s access audit was conducted at the Birthright School at Tunasan, Muntinlupa. PDAO Muntinlupa Head, Dra. Caryl de Guzman facilitated the sharing of updates on access audit being conducted in Muntinlupa City. The presence of Deputy City Administrator Roger J.P. Smith provided guidance particularly for difficult and slow-moving cases. The new tool for Access Audit was discussed with the  11 members of the audit team. Further updates were provided by PDAO’s John Russel Benavidez including the team assignments and schedule for the afternoon site inspections which audited the Festival mall and the Belleview Hotel.

Teacher Danielle Abrasaldo, who spoke on about “Music and Dance Therapies: A Supplement to Your Child’s Therapies.“ Parents learned about the benefits of music and dance therapy and that TBEF classes are offered for free while other schools charge exorbitant fees in the range of 1,200 to 2,500 pesos per session.  They were encouraged to bring their children to attend these classes as these are freely given to the students of Birthright.


​A total of 34 parents attended the meeting and was held at the Third Floor of the The Birthright School at Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

The city of Muntinlupa called the Members of the Local Council for the Protection of Children at Acacia Hotel. A review of the  implementation of the plan was also conducted and a new Vision for Muntinlupa’s children was formulated. Visitors for Center for Disability in Development  were admitted to  the conference room to observe the meeting. They were impressed by the closeness and collaboration of Birthright  with the local government. From the conference, the visitors from Bangladesh went to the Vice Mayor’s office for a courtesy call as the Mayor is  out of town. They also observed a council meeting to approve a MOA with a Non government organization headed by Counsellor Jedi Presnedi.
