April 8, 2026, Sangguniang Secretariat of Muntinlupa — The Birthright Educators Foundation Inc. (TBEF) took part in a meaningful public hearing held on Wednesday at the City Council of Muntinlupa, led by Councilor Ting Niefes under the Committee on Persons with Disability. Representing Birthright was Executive Director Miriam del Rosario, together with TBEF teachers and staff, in collaboration with PDAO Muntinlupa, Ms. Analyn Mercado, Head of the Social Services Department, and Ms. Tez Navarro.
The hearing focused on the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City Government of Muntinlupa and Birthright. Through this partnership, Birthright aims to extend its support by providing free technical assistance and resource speakers for advocacy training programs designed for persons with disabilities (PWDs), including children.

The discussions during the hearing highlighted the urgent need to equip PWDs with the knowledge, confidence, and platforms to advocate for their rights.
